Presidents Message

Since our organization's founding in 1914, on the campus of Howard University, Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service have been the cornerstones of this great fraternity. Our illustrious founders, A. Langston Taylor, Leonard F. Morse, and Charles I. Brown, recognized the importance of creating an organization of men that would work for the well being of all humankind regardless of socioeconomic background, religious affiliation, or race. 96 years later, Phi Beta Sigma stands as a true beacon of light in various communities throughout the world,.

Here in the city of New Haven, Delta Iota Sigma Chapter has solidified itself as an entity that is vested in the advancement of the inner city community. We are committed to upholding the motto set forth by our Founding Fathers, culture for service, service for humanity. As you browse through our website you will have the opportunity to learn more about our great fraternity and the work that we are doing in the Greater New Haven area and beyond.

Once again, thank you for visiting our website and please contact us should you have any questions or concerns
